Enjoying a view that can only be enjoyed from the top of Table Mountain!

Summer was getting into full swing by the time we headed into #SurfTrip35 and we did not waste a moment getting into the full swing of summer!

We’re super proud of the latest addition to our team-kit, our very own stylishly customized surf bus!

We started #SurfTrip35 with a drive-through of the spectacular Cape Peninsula enjoying some of nature’s most breathtaking views…

The Cape of Good Hope, at Cape Point, historical points of interest don’t get much more spectacular than this!

We then headed into the Hemel-en-Aarde Vallei (Valley of Heaven and Earth) to sample some local wines, before cruising into the semi-secluded Garden Route and the magic of Buffels Bay.

Cruising through the vineyards of the Cape, a visit to Cape Town and the Garden Route isn’t complete without a wine-farm wine-tasting experience.
And Buffels never disappoints us! We scored some fantastic surf, perfect for learning, progressing into the line-up, and ultimately ripping! Buffels really is a surfer’s dream come true!

There are so many waves in Buffels, and so few surfers, that sometimes it’s almost painful to watch so many beautiful waves empty waves… unless you’re the one surfing!
We also combined our daily surfing with several excursions and explored all the best adventures the Garden Route has to offer.

And no Garden Route Surf Trip with Unravel Surf Travel would be complete without visiting The Surfer Kids, a non-profit outreach initiative empowering some of the poorest and most marginalized local children through surfing. Guests on #SurfTrip34 had the unique opportunity to assist The Surfer Kids’ Surf Instructors with a day of surf coaching and fun!

As an optional extra we also always offer daily Yoga practice with a qualified instructor on all our Surf Trips, to help relieve tired muscles and focus the mind on enjoying every moment.

Yoga forms a natural part of our Surf Trips and ultimately feeds back into our surfing by allowing us to spend more time in the water!

#SurfTrip34 was an awesome experience and we said goodbye to another super-stoked and surfed-out group of happy clients!

Enjoy the photos and check out our upcoming Surf Trips for more info!
