Golfers & Explorers: Garden Route Adventure.

Two coastal golf resorts, Safari and Garden Route adventures.
Designed for families and groups of all ages, this journey pairs championship golf with the best of South Africa’s Garden Route, so every traveller enjoys the holiday they came for.
Golfers, young and old, play two championship courses overlooking the Indian Ocean in Knysna and Mossel Bay, where the views are as memorable as the game. Everyone else explores the majestic Garden Route with their own private driver and guide, who plans each day around what they’d like to do. That could be zip lining over the ocean, a light hike through a nature reserve, visiting heritage site caves, meeting elephants, watching whales, surfing or simply relaxing at a spa. Add a sunset safari in the bush, and by dinner everyone has a story to share.
WHY GARDEN ROUTE ↓
Stretching along South Africa’s southern coast between the Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua Mountains, the Garden Route brings together forests, lagoons and miles of coastline, all within a short drive of each other. For golfers, it offers some of the country’s most scenic courses, including Pezula in Knysna and Pinnacle Point in Mossel Bay, both known for their dramatic coastal settings.
The region is especially well suited to families and mixed groups, as golf is only part of the experience. Ocean zip lines, nature walks, elephant encounters, boat trips, a safari and ancient heritage caves are all within easy reach. Golfers can play while the rest of the group explores, so the trip is rewarding for everyone.

An 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Peter Matkovich, set on dramatic cliffs above the Indian Ocean. Several holes play across deep ravines with the sea below, making it one of South Africa’s most memorable rounds of golf. Between shots, golfers often spot dolphins in the bay and dassies sunning on the rocks.

Pezula Golf Course
An 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale, set on the Eastern Head of Knysna overlooking the lagoon and the Indian Ocean. Expect dramatic elevation changes, fairways framed by indigenous fynbos, and the signature 14th hole, a short par 4 with sweeping ocean views.
