Approximate Program*
* This is a flexible indication, to give you an idea of what the possibilities are. The final program will depend on surfing conditions and your choice of extra excursions .
Day 1
- Arrival to Mossel Bay or at the local airport of George, just outside Mossel Bay.
- We settle in a picturesque bay, on the shores of which Europeans first set foot in the 15th century, rounding the Cape of Good Hope under the leadership of Bartolomeo Diaz. Let’s get acquainted with the town, which is voted by South African “the best town to live in”.
- Dinner at a local restaurant and meet and greet with the group.

Day 2
- Introduction to surfing and surf spots, ocean safety, followed by the surf lesson.
- After lunchtime we leave Mossel Bay for a Safari Game Drive at a local private game reserve. You’ll see Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalo, Zebra, Lions, Rhinoceros and various antelope species such as Kudu and Eland. All the animals in the reserve live in an open and natural environment.

Day 3
- We start the day fresh with the morning surf session and photo analysis, to examine surfing technique and to adjust your style.
- Lunch at a beach restaurant and some rest.
- In the afternoon we head off to go skydiving above the Mossel bay peninsula and if that’s a little too extreme / you can try the world’s longest zip-line over the ocean.

Day 4
- Morning surf lesson and dron session, which helps to analyze your surfing style, give feedback on technique and individual recommendations.
- After lunch we join The Surfer Kids, a local non-profit organization, with the focus being on the social development and personal empowerment of local youths. A visit to the Surfer Kids Surf and Skate center of Mossel bay is combined with the surfing and beach games together with the kids. Visit to Bitkoin Ekasi Education Center is available for BTC enthusiasts.

Day 5
- From July to November it’s whale season! This is when Southern Right and Humpback Whales travel from Antarctica to give birth in the warmer waters along the Southern African coastline. We might also see dolphins and will definitely visit a large seal colony!
- Surf session in the afternoon

Day 6
- The last day in Mossel Bay is always dedicated to surfing as much as possible! This is the right time to forget about technique and just have fun!
- This is followed by an early dinner at a local beach restaurant. Put your toes in the sand and eat as much delicious fresh seafood as you like! Had enough to eat? Take quick walk down to the empty beach and chat with a local fisherman. But don’t take too long. There’s still a six course meal waiting for you, all of it prepared by hand on a fire and served buffet style.

Day 7
- We get up to catch the sunrise and surf while the sun makes its first appearance over the horizon and colors water in gold. Lunch at a local harbor.
- Depending on the departure time, guests use time to relax on the beach, go for walks in Mossel Bay or buy souvenirs.
