Come travel with us through Mozambique and Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest nature reserves!

It’s a journey through diverse landscapes, to surf perfect waves off the Mozambican coastline, with many mind blowing experiences along the way!


Our final destination is Tofo, a vibrant little coastal town, where we’ll stay a stone’s throw from the beach. There we’ll offer daily surfing and Yoga sessions with professional instructors!

Tofo is a surfer’s paradise with pristine beaches and crystal-clear warm water! The waves are ideal for beginners with a protected bay offering sheltered conditions and friendly waves.

And just around the corner, you’ll find a world class point-break with high performance waves for advanced surfers!

En-route from Johannesburg to Tofo we’ll explore the Kruger National Park, one of the biggest nature reserves on the African continent!


We’ll stay on the banks of the Crocodile River and spend two days searching for majestic wild animals living undisturbed within their natural habitat!

Other adventures include an awesome Kayak Trip to a local fishing village and a cultural tour, to meet the locals and immerse ourselves in the local Batonga way of life!


Boat based whale watching is another incredible experience included in the programme, with lots of wet fun and spectacular sights of breaching whales!

And if we’re lucky we might just snorkel past a Whale Shark or two!

Approximate Program*

Day 1
We’ll arrive in Johannesburg and meet at OR Tambo International Airport, from where we leave for Malelane, situated on the border of the Kruger National Park, arriving in the late afternoon.


 Day 2
We’ll spend the day exploring the Kruger National Park! Some of the wild animals we can expect to see are Lion, Giraffe, Rhinoceros, Buffalo, Zebra, Elephant, Hyaena, Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Hippopotamus, Crocodile, Steenbok and, if we’re fortunate, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild Dog and many more!

Day 3
Another day spent exploring the Kruger National Park with the option of taking a guided night-time Game Drive with a Kruger Park Game Ranger, for a truly unique game viewing experience!

Day 4
We depart early and leave for Mozambique, crossing the border in the morning and staying overnight in Chidenguele, halfway between Maputo and Tofo, in the province of Inhambane.


Day 5
We drive the final stretch to Tofo and arrive in the early afternoon, in time for our first surf session!


Day 6
Our first full-day of surfing & Yoga in Tofo. Our resident Surf Instructor and his local assistant will do a full introductory Surf Lesson for those that weren’t ready to join the previous day’s session. In the evening we will take a walk to the local Yoga Studio and meet our Instructors for our first Yoga session!

Day 7
Surfing, Yoga and an Ocean Safari, which includes swimming and snorkeling with Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Dolphins and Humpback Whales! Tofo is one of the few places in the world where it’s possible to swim and snorkel with these amazing aquatic animals!


Day 8
Surfing, Yoga and and an excursion to the nearby historical city of Inhambane. We’ll also go on a cultural tour of a nearby village, respectfully visiting a local family.


Day 9
Surfing, Yoga and another Ocean Safari, just in-case we missed any Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Dolphins or Humpback Whales on the previous trip!

Day 10
Surfing, Yoga and a photo-reviewing workshop on surfing technique, where we’ll look at your surfing photos, captured by our resident photographer, and discuss possible improvements to maximize your surfing experience!


Day 11
Kayak trip to Ilha Do Inhamane (Island of Ihambane) where we’ll cross the lagoon for a seafood lunch with some local Batonga fishermen, after which we’ll return by Dhow, a local sailing boat used by fisherman and traders.


Day 12
Final day of surfing & Yoga in Tofo with extra emphasis on getting the most out of our last surf session!

Day 13
We depart very early and overnight just outside Maputo, the Mozambican capital.


Day 14
We’ll cross the border back into South Africa and drive to the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee sanctuary near Nelspruit for a close encounter with rescued chimpanzees.


Day 15
We leave for OR Tambo International Airport, via a drive-through of Johannesburg City Centre and a visit to the Apartheid Museum, offering a glimpse into the history of segregation in South Africa’s and the struggle against oppression. Final departure from OR Tambo International Airport in the late afternoon.
